EOSC Theatre kicks off season with “Huck Finn”


WILBURTON, OK (Sept. 30, 2013) – The Eastern Oklahoma State College Theatre Department will kick off the college’s theatre season with “Huck Finn” by Eric Coble on Friday, Oct. 4 at 6 p.m. in Mitchell Auditorium.

The Children’s Theatre production, which is adapted from the novel “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” by Mark Twain, is a timeless tale of friendship, laughter and humanity. The cast will perform eight matinees for more than 3,000 area school children Tuesday through Friday and conclude with the public performance on Friday night.

“Huck Finn” is directed by Sarah Klocke, EOSC theatre director and instructor. Admission is $5 for adults, $1 for children and free for Eastern students with an EOSC ID.
