Eastern to host Chad Cargill ACT Prep Workshop for area high school students on Sept. 4
WILBURTON, OK (Aug. 14, 2019) – Area high school students planning to take the ACT this year can receive extra preparation during a Chad Cargill ACT Prep Workshop at Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 8:30 a.m. The workshop is open to high school students in grades 10 through 12.
The Chad Cargill ACT Prep Workshop will focus on ACT test components including math, science, reading and English, as well as practical information on how to increase an ACT score. The cost of the workshop is $40 and seating is limited.
Chad Cargill, founder and president of Cargill Consulting, is one of the most sought after ACT coaches in the nation. He developed this workshop after taking the ACT 18 times as a high school student and increased his score from a 19 to 32.
Check-in for the workshop starts at 8 a.m. in the Tourtellotte Student Center Ballroom. The workshop will begin at 8:30 a.m. and last until 11:30 a.m. Pizza and drinks will be served immediately following the workshop.
Visit eosc.edu/ACTprep for payment and registration information. No registrations or payments will be accepted on the day of the workshop. Registration and payment must be received by Sept. 2 to reserve a space.
Eastern is a national ACT test site. Upcoming test dates for the academic year are Sept. 14, Oct. 26, Dec. 14, Feb. 8, April 4 and June 13. Students can register for the national ACT at act.org.
