Eastern soccer set to start season under new head coach Trevor Harmon

WILBURTON (August 19, 2016) – Eastern Oklahoma State College soccer is set to get its season underway this month under the direction of new head coach Trevor Harmon.

Harmon, a native of Allen, Texas, brings his knowledge and both playing and coaching experience to the young program. Harmon played soccer at Oklahoma City University where he earned the NAIA Scholar Athlete and Co-SIDA Academic All-District Awards.

After graduating with a bachelor's degree in marketing, he had coaching stints at Piedmont and Midwest City High Schools as the head coach and helped start the soccer program at Rose State College, where he was also an assistant coach.

The Mountaineers and Lady Mountaineers will be starting their season on August 22, with six home games scheduled for the 2016 season. The up-and-coming program will look to continue the tradition of success in Eastern sports both on the field and in the classroom.
