Eastern Agriculture to host Barn Bash May 7


WILBURTON, OK (April 21, 2016) – Eastern Oklahoma State College’s Agriculture Department will host a Barn Bash with barbecue, dancing, prizes and live entertainment on May 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Goddard Show Barn Complex.

The Bo Phillips Band will provide the night’s entertainment. Bo Phillips was raised in Buffalo Valley along with his brother Stoney Larue. After beginning his career as a high school agriculture teacher, he decided to pursue his true passion: music. Several of his red-dirt-style hits have made their way to the Texas Top 40 charts and “Red Dirt Girl” topped the chart at No. 1.

Tickets to the event are $50 and include admission for two. The 500th ticket drawn will win the grand prize: a Polaris Ranger, which you need not be present to win. An assortment of prizes will also be drawn for which you will need to be present to win.
