Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the gang headed to Eastern


WILBURTON, OK (April 15, 2013) – The beloved cartoon characters of Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the gang will come to life April 26-28 at Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton.

The Eastern Theatre Department will present “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” on April 26 and 27 at 7 p.m. and April 28 at 2 p.m. All performances will be in the Mitchell Auditorium in Wilburton. Admission is $5 for the general public.

The musical is based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz with the book, music and lyrics by Clark M. Gesner. The production will be directed by Sarah Klocke, EOSC theatre director and instructor.

The iconic characters will be portrayed by current Eastern theatre and music students and local high school seniors who will enter the theatre program this fall.

The cast includes Eastern students Zach Olinger of Checotah as Charlie Brown; Rodney Morris of Forney, Tex. as Schroeder; and Sam Harley of Idabel as Linus. The cast also includes Wilburton High School students Hannah Truitt as Lucy, Clay Humphreys as Snoopy, Victoria Juarez as the Little Redheaded Girl and Panola High School student Anna Goad as Sally.
