Student & Campus Life

Student Housing

Your home away from home is more than just a place to eat and sleep. At Eastern, there's a strong feeling of community. And living on campus gives you the greatest opportunities to meet new people, join in activities and get easy access to classes, study labs and the library.

Students who live on campus continually interact with a diverse group of individuals, enhancing their educational experience. Studies show that students who live on campus attain a higher grade point average than those who do not.

There are several affordable student housing options in Wilburton, including two residence halls, family student housing and newly-constructed student apartments.

NOTICE TO STUDENTS IN JOHNSTON HALL: Eastern Oklahoma State College is currently in the process of installing a new smoke and fire alarm system in this residence hall. In the interim, EOSC has taken the following precautions:

  • Fire drills will be conducted on a monthly basis until the new installation is completed.
  • Residential-type smoke detectors have been installed in all hallways.
  • Campus Police, the Residence Hall Coordinator and the RAs will complete walk-throughs on average, every 120 minutes.
  • Residence Hall Coordinator Brandon Taylor will be complete more stringent room checks for any fire hazards, including unauthorized appliances and extension cords.
