Does Eastern provide me with an email account?
Yes. Eastern provides email accounts for all enrolled students. Your account is maintained for a period of two years, so you will have the same email address for your entire time at Eastern.
Where do I get my email account information?
You can retrieve your email, WebAdvisor and Blackboard username and default password through WebAdvisor.
Should I change my email password?
Yes. All Internet email accounts are built with a default password and should be changed as soon as possible to protect your mail account.
How do I change my password?
Click on the WebMail link on Eastern's main webpage and log in to your account.
Click on the Options Label (bottom left side)
- Under Global, click on Change Password
- Enter the Current Password
- Enter the New Password
- Confirm the New Password
- Click on Save Preferences
How do I check my email?
You can check your web email at http://webmail.eosc.edu
If I forgot my email password, can the system send me a new one?
Unfortunately, no. Please contact Computer Services at 918.465.1748 or 918.465.1899 to have your password reset.
