Criminal Justice Degree

Eastern Oklahoma State College offers two options in Criminal Justice.

  1. Criminal Justice (AS)

    The Associate in Science in Criminal Justice is designed for students who want to continue their studies in pre-law, criminology, corrections, or forensics at a four-year college or university. This degree is available in a traditional face-to-face setting or fully online.

  2. Criminal Justice - COP Option (AS)

    The Associate in Science in Criminal Justice-COP Option is accredited by the Counsel on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET). Upon completion of the degree requirements, students are eligible to take the state law enforcement certification exam.  

Professional Licensure Requirements Disclosure

The U.S. Department of Education requires that all criminal justice programs disclose where Eastern's curriculum meets or does not meet state educational requirements for professional licensure or certification.

Career Opportunities

Graduates will be prepared to enter the law enforcement field as CLEET-certified police officers. Graduates may also find rewarding careers in corrections, law, juvenile delinquency, the FBI, criminology, forensics and law enforcement.
