Eastern professor named one of the top 100 nurses in Oklahoma
WILBURTON, OK (Sept. 11, 2014) - Eastern Oklahoma State College professor Gina Bullock has been recognized as one of the top 100 nurses in the state by the Great 100 Nurses Foundation of Oklahoma.
Bullock was selected for her contribution to humanity through the nursing program as well as being an outstanding mentor to others.
“We are very proud of Gina and her accomplishment,” said Robin Nevling, the director of nursing at Eastern. “She has worked diligently to get where she is today.”
Bullock has taught nursing at Eastern for nine years.
Those nominated for the Great 100 Nurses Foundation award are selected by a panel of other nurses. The selections are based upon the four areas of community/clinical, administration, research and education which is also known as the CARE model.
Bullock and the other 2014 honorees will be attending an award ceremony in Tulsa at the Hard Rock Casino on Sept. 30.
