Eastern Library makes donation to local school, ODL and OHS

WILBURTON, Okla. – The Eastern Oklahoma State College Library recently donated much of its collection of periodicals and journals to the Oklahoma Department of Libraries and the Oklahoma Historical Society.

Eastern recently received a federal Native American-Serving Nontribal Institutions grant that will help renovate the Library facility, which resulted in the need to remove the publications in order for remodeling work to begin.

In addition to this donation, Eastern’s collection of yearbooks and school newspapers will be digitized by the ODL and made available on Eastern’s website upon completion.

The Library also donated children’s furniture, books on CD and Ellison die-cuts to the Wilburton Elementary School.
